hello everyone!
The Hanshin Juvenile Fillies will be held this weekend. This year, due to renovations at Hanshin Racecourse, the race will move to Kyoto Racecourse. The outer course at Kyoto Racecourse is tricky, with a slope at the third corner, so mastering the downhill will be key. Christophe will be competing with Brown Ratchet, who won his debut race and the Artemis Stakes.

The outer course at Kyoto Racecourse is tricky, with a slope at the third corner, so mastering the downhill will be key. Christophe will be competing with Brown Ratchet, who won his debut race and the Artemis Stakes.

"My first impression of Brown Ratchet was that he was a very obedient and easy horse to ride. He has the ability to lead the pack once he leaves the gate, and has the advantage of being able to easily take position. In the last two races, we have been partnered at Nakayama Racecourse and Tokyo Racecourse, and he has run calmly without getting agitated. On the outer course in Kyoto, you need to maintain good balance at the third corner. With a horse with little experience, this is an important point, but Brown Ratchet is very easy to ride, so I'm not too worried. He is a horse with great potential, so I'm looking forward to it," said Christophe, emitting confidence ahead of the race. Mayday Lady, ridden by jockey Dettori from the United States, will also be competing in this year's race, so we can expect a very exciting race!

Let's talk about "The Winner's Circle Album," a project that combines horse racing and music. Christophe loves music in his private life. When we stopped by a bar in Kyoto together, we had a great time seeing a side of him that we don't usually see at horse racing events, dancing to music. Christophe has now launched a hip-hop project that combines horse racing and music, in collaboration with American artists. This is "The Winner's Circle Album," a hip-hop project in collaboration with American musicians.
"I've been a fan of hip-hop for many years, and I learned about this American project through social media. Just as 'CL by C. Lemaire' connected fashion and horse racing, I thought that by connecting hip-hop music and horse racing, more people could discover the appeal of horse racing, so I started this project," Christophe said of the project. One of the tracks on the album, "Let's Ride" by artist Yung Gritty, is available on iTunes, so if you're interested, be sure to check it out. While there are no plans for an event in Japan yet, we'll update this blog with any new information about "The Winner's Circle Album" as it becomes available.

Finally, I'd like to share a photo taken at Ritto Training Center. This is a shot before training began, showing Christophe and I, who are friends of the brand, wearing our CL by C. Lemaire jackets. In addition to us, our agent, Nobuo Toyosawa, and Barrett's Ryota Fujii are also wearing these jackets, supporting Christophe as a team.

Also, be sure to pay attention to the cap Christophe is wearing. This cap comes in eight colors, representing the gate positions in horse racing, and is inspired by Japan's unique gate numbering system. "My favorite gate number is gate 4. The system of changing the hat color for each gate number is unique to Japan, making it easy for fans to find their favorite horse. I encourage everyone to choose their favorite color. It also makes a great Christmas gift this coming Christmas season," says Christophe. The logo on this cap, scheduled for release on December 13th, was newly designed for this occasion.
