Which gate to start from? Sometimes it's the difference between winning and losing. The outside gates are always a challenge. But the inside gates are also a big risk. I've been lucky to win G1 races from every gate I've started from! Yellow has a special meaning to me: twenty years ago, I won my first G1 race in Japan with Heart's Cry in this color.
