Since I moved permanently to Japan, the kindness and support received from Japanese fans and horse connections have been incredible. It brought me peace of mind. That is why it is important for me to give back to Japan as much as I can. My brand, CL by C.LEMAIRE, collaborates with local artists and artisans, produces all its collection in Japan and donates part of its sales to local charities.
Horse racing requires passion, dedication, and perseverance. I believe the same can be said for artisans and artists. That is why we insist on manufacturing in Japan and support artisans and artists.
In Horse racing too, a difference can be made in a fraction of seconds. Our collection too pays attention to details and incorporates three unique elements: the head of our zippers modeled after jockey boots, our buttons modeled after jockey helmets and original embroidery.
Finally, horse racing requires a great cooperation between all horse connections and the jockey. My fashion brand too is the results of the common passion of our production team, our craftsmen and designers.

Our 100% cotton polo shirts are handcrafted in small factories in Tokushima and Wakayama prefectures.

All printings are done using silk screen technology to ensure vivid colors and durability. Each layer of color is applied by hand by our craftsmen in a small factory in Osaka Prefecture.
Our original VIP gifts consist of Japanese traditional mini lanterns, inspired by the colors and patterns of our collection: a collaborative work with Kyoto-based craftsman "Kojima shouten".

By incorporating local craftsmanship, we hope to sustain local know-how. For example, our main furniture in our pop-up store, modeled after the shape of a horse racing track, is made locally in Kyoto. In the past, we also worked with lacquer expert Sato Kiyomatsu Shoten as well as Kyoto Leather to produce exclusive limited-edition items.
