The third installment of the "LEGEND JOCKEY" series by artist Ryuichi Obana. Following Napoleon (LEGEND JOCKEY I) and a work inspired by Utagawa Kuniyoshi's ukiyo-e print "Sarasara-goe" (LEGEND JOCKEY II), this piece features Tomoe Gozen, a legendary female warrior who symbolizes the strength and beauty of women. This series reinterprets historical masters of horsemanship as "jockeys." In this work, Tomoe Gozen carries a whip instead of a bow and arrow, and her battle standard features a horseshoe symbol, blending her image with the world of horse racing. The base colors are pink or mint, expressing a feminine aesthetic that is new to the series. Limited to 215 pieces.
Made from 100% Japanese cotton jersey, it is highly breathable, fluffy and stable in quality.
